Shinnosuke Shihoudani (四方谷 慎之介 Shihodani Shin'nosuke) is the younger half-brother of Yuujirou. In the anime, he comes with his parents to see his brother at the school festival. He tends to be very shy and at first is especially reluctant to talk with Yuujirou. He has claimed that he wants Yuujirou home more often so he can marry his "sister" (he saw Yuujirou in his princess costume).
Etymology[]
- The name Shinnosuke means "prudent, careful" (慎) (shin), "this" (之) (no) and "help, assist" (介) (suke).
- Shinnosuke's surname Shihoudani means "all sides, every direction" (四方) (shihou) and "valley" (谷) (tani/dani).
